The St. Mary's Summer Shootout tips off today, Friday, May 29, in Phoenix and runs through Saturday, May 30. Eight Arizona programs are in the single-elimination field, every team is guaranteed multiple games across the two days, and the championship is set for 2:00 PM on Saturday.

Saturday, May 30 — Bracket day

The championship (G9) tips at 2:00 PM, with placement games close behind: third place at 3:15 PM (G10), fifth at 4:30 PM (G11) and seventh at 5:45 PM (G12).

Format
It's single elimination on the championship side, with a full consolation bracket so every team plays into a final placement from second through eighth. One note from the event sheet: the lower-listed team in each matchup is the home side and wears white.
Players to watch
Headlining the weekend is young guard Obatayo Adigun, who makes his debut for the host Knights — one of the more intriguing prospects in the state to keep an eye on as he tests himself against varsity-level competition. Saguaro's Pierce Harrington is another name to note in attendance, with the 2028 wing among the standouts expected to make an impact in the field. Host St. Mary's Catholic also features guard Carter Bagley, a 2028 prospect to keep tabs on. From Mountain Pointe, guards Justin Kimbrough and Jayvein Moody and forward Marcus Isaac headline a 2028 group worth watching.
