How are your rankings calculated?

Our composite rankings aggregate numerical ratings from multiple independent scouting sources. Each player's final score is the weighted average of all sources; national, position, and state ranks are then calculated from that composite.

How often do rankings update?

We revise rankings on a rolling basis as new information becomes available — after major tournaments, commitment announcements, or significant performance changes. Full class-year recalculations run monthly.

How do I submit a correction?

Email tips@offsznhoops.com with the player's name, class year, and the correction you're proposing. Include sources when possible. Our editors review every submission.

What's included in the free plan?

The free plan includes composite rankings, basic player profiles, class year filters, and position/state filters. It's perfect for fans and families.

What do Premium and VIP unlock?

Premium unlocks full scouting reports, recruiting predictions (RPM), source comparison view, forum access, and NIL valuations. VIP adds early access to ranking updates, direct evaluator Q&A, exclusive insider reports, and ad-free experience.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can cancel from your profile settings. Your access continues through the end of the current billing period.

Do you offer refunds?

Refunds are handled case-by-case. Contact support within 14 days of purchase if something isn't right.

How can an athlete claim their profile?

Visit your profile page and click "Claim Profile." You'll verify your identity with a school email or social proof. Once verified, you can update your info, add highlights, and manage recruiting visibility.

Can I remove my profile?

Yes. Athletes or their parents/guardians can request removal by emailing privacy@offsznhoops.com. We'll respond within 48 hours.

Do you cover middle school or youth rankings?

Not yet. We start coverage at the high school level. Expanding younger is on our roadmap.

Why Arizona-first?

We believe in building deep coverage before going wide. Arizona is our launch market — every high school, every AAU program, every prospect. As we prove the model, we're expanding state-by-state.

Nevada and New Mexico are up next, targeted for later this year. Full nationwide coverage is the goal by 2027.
