Our composite rankings aggregate numerical ratings from multiple independent scouting sources. Each player's final score is the weighted average of all sources; national, position, and state ranks are then calculated from that composite.
We revise rankings on a rolling basis as new information becomes available — after major tournaments, commitment announcements, or significant performance changes. Full class-year recalculations run monthly.
Email tips@offsznhoops.com with the player's name, class year, and the correction you're proposing. Include sources when possible. Our editors review every submission.

Coverage
Every state — national rankings, commitments, and news for all 50 plus DC. Arizona and California have the deepest local coverage (we launched there first); the rest is expanding state-by-state through 2027 toward the same depth. See /coverage for the full tier breakdown.
We're prioritizing the highest-talent hoops states (TX, FL, GA, NC, NY, IL, OH, PA, VA, IN) in 2026 before filling in the rest. National rankings, commitments, transfer-portal, and already work across every state today — the gap is in granular high school + AAU rosters, which we're building out. See /coverage for the live tier map.
Football coverage goes live fall 2026. Softball is on the roadmap.
