Higley High School has named former UCLA assistant David Grace its new head boys basketball coach. Grace — whose résumé includes head-coaching stops at Centennial (Peoria) and South Mountain plus Division I roles at UCLA, Cal, Vanderbilt and Oregon State — replaces Kenneth Drake and inherits a Hawks roster returning Isaiah Rider IV, Marquice Pless and Michael McIntyre off an Open Division quarterfinal run.
