Mateen Cleaves Jr ( Pictured) - A bigger point guard who combines 3-point shooting with the ability to attack off the catch and get into mid-range pull-ups or finishes at the rim. He reads the defense well and makes sound decisions as an offensive initiator, recognizing openings and finding teammates in scoring positions. His feel for the game allows him to balance his own scoring opportunities with orchestrating the offense.
Tai Bell - There won’t be many better floor generals at the event. He controls possessions with his pace and multiple changes of speed, reads defensive rotations and finds open teammates without allowing pressure to speed him up. He gets into the paint under control and uses high-arcing layups or floaters to score over interior defenders. His touch in the mid-range and ability to make shots from 3 prevent defenders from loading up against his drives.
Demarcus Henry - At 6-foot-7, he has a long, lean frame and the ability to score from the perimeter or work closer to the basket. His 3-point shooting demands attention, while his ability to attack off the dribble gives him another scoring option. He uses his length to finish over defenders at the rim and is comfortable establishing position in the post to score over the top. Defensively, he puts that length to use both on the perimeter and inside, disrupting opponents and making shots more difficult to convert.
Noah Grossman - An explosive guard with the burst and vertical pop to put real pressure on the rim. He attacks aggressively, welcomes contact and has the lift to finish through defenders or above the rim, making him a dangerous lob target in transition. He can also score from the mid-range and makes sound decisions with the ball, pairing his scoring ability with good passing instincts. He competes defensively, giving him value beyond his offensive production.
Terrance Byrd - His strength stands out as both a rebounder and a finisher. He can grab a defensive rebound and lead the break himself, getting into the paint and putting pressure on the rim. He attacks contact directly and has the body control to absorb it while finishing at the basket. His ability to turn rebounds into rim attacks gives him a productive source of offense, with his physical approach generating finishes through contact and frequent trips to the line.
Cayden Daughtry - A skilled shot creator with tight ball control, balance and a good feel for changing speeds. He keeps defenders on his back and maintains a strong handle through pressure, allowing him to get into the paint and access a variety of finishes around the rim. He can stop sharply into mid-range jumpers, create 3s off the dribble or knock them down off the catch, giving him scoring options at all three levels. His passing instincts help him recognize openings and create scoring opportunities for teammates.
Maurice Carter II - An explosive scorer with a quick burst off the dribble and a relentless approach to attacking the basket. He pressures the rim in transition and the half court, combining crafty finishes with the body control to absorb contact and convert. He initiates contact effectively on his drives, drawing fouls and generating trips to the line. His shot-making extends to mid-range pull-ups and 3s off the dribble, while his catch-and-shoot ability allows him to remain a scoring threat away from the ball.
Josiah Rose - His ability to create separation off the dribble stands out, generating clean looks on the perimeter with a controlled handle. He shoots it well from 3 with extended range, forcing defenders to pick him up farther from the basket. His ball control allows him to handle pressure and organize the offense without giving up his dribble. Comfortable working with his back to the basket, he can also establish post position and score inside, adding variety to his scoring package.
Madden Hill - Quickness and explosiveness stand out in his game, with impressive lift to finish well above the rim from the guard spot. He can break defenders down off the dribble and turn defensive rebounds into coast-to-coast scoring opportunities. Away from the ball, he moves well to find open shooting windows and knocks down catch-and-shoot 3s, making him effective both as a creator and alongside another ball handler.
Jacobi Thompson II - His ability to get to the rim with few dribbles stands out, pairing direct attacks with an explosive finishing package. He pressures the basket early in transition and carries that same aggression into the half court, finishing above the rim and through traffic. He initiates contact effectively, drawing fouls while maintaining control on his attempts. When the defense collapses, he recognizes the help and kicks the ball out to open teammates. His improved 3-point shooting makes him more difficult to guard, forcing tighter coverage and creating opportunities to attack off the dribble. His nonstop motor sustains that pressure throughout the game.
